Time to believe! It was an early wake up call for me! We attended a different kind of mass where there was no choir and two priests headed the program. We used a book so that we could follow throughout the mass.

After listening to the great preach, we went back to out hotel and we prepared ourselves with the highlight of the day! The meet and greet with no other than Indiana Pacers Paul George! Hihi… Honestly, I didn’t know who he was but he played for the East team and my hat goes to him!

We had a back tour first at the NBA players’ locker rooms!

Nice warning! 🙂

Let’s go inside the West team’s locker room!

It was a surreal experience to see their arranged uniforms and rubber shoes that they would use during the game.

We immediately being pulled out with the rest of the group for the meet and greet session.

We were early for the M&G and the boys were truly excited. They put on the top of small table the things that they wanted Paul George to sign on. Unfortunately I only brought one ‘souvenir’ but I believed it was the perfect for the event.

When Paul George came, I was star struck.

OMG! He is so tall and good-looking!

My knees were weak when I asked him to sign the notebook. He was so nice in person. Though it was short and sweet, it definitely made my day!

Hi Paul George! 🙂

The experience was priceless!

We went to the Jam Session store after the Meet and Greet. I was able to buy a lanyard as my souvenir!

The NBA All Star Sunday game was jam-packed not only by fans but celebrities. There were Janelle Monae, Earth, Wind and Fire and of course Pharell Williams who sang his very contagious song Happy.

So who was the winning team? It was definitely the EAST! The final score was 163 (East) and 155 (West).

The hailed MVP Player was no other than my favorite NBA player, Kyrie Irving who scored whopping 31 points!

That ends my NBA All Star 2014 and New Orleans experience but I still have one article about my ‘food porn’ adventure in the historical city of Louisiana! Watch out for it!
